Jersey Devil Barbell

The Jersey Devil is a legendary creature and so is Grind’s new barbell!   Jersey Devil barbells by Grind are completely made in Rahway, New Jersey.  They are machined and assembled by hand in Grind’s Manufacturing plant.  Jersey Devil barbells are 28.5MM bearing bars, starting with a 190,000 PSI tensile strength steel shaft and zinc finish, the barbell also includes an upgraded snap ring sleeve construction and exclusive Jersey Devil branded end caps. There are single IWF standard Olympic knurl marks (no center knurl or powerlifting marks) and 16.40″ of loadable sleeve length.  We believe that Grind’s Jersey Devil Bar ranks among the best in the industry for feel, durability, and performance.  This bar can do it all from high school training to Olympic lifting.

The bar showed up well packed in reasonable time. The build quality is excellent. Spin is fantastic. Knurling is passive but well done. Only gripe is the black zinc coating seems thin and cheap compared to other zinc bars I have purchased. I purchased it recently and it was $240 with free shipping. I feel that is a fair price but not the $300 they are asking now. Not unless they improve their coating or better yet offer a cerakote bar. Glad to have this American Made bar though and it will get tons of use.
